Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs

The acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Cakaj, via a Facebook post launched the program of the National Diplomatic Academy.

The aim of this program is not only to give a general education to the next generation of diplomats, but also to increase their knowledge about the Albanian history of foreign policy.

Apart from the lectures on the history of the Albanian diplomacy since beginnings of the Albanian state, Chief Diplomat Cakaj said that there will be detailed elaborations on Albania’s current policy in the region, the European integration process and the policies of Albania in multilateral organizations in the OSCE, NATO and United Nations.

Therefore, this program presents a valuable opportunity for all young people who aspire to join the path of diplomacy, foreign policy and international relations.

“In the spirit of our efforts to bring Albanians together as much as possible, this program will be open to Albanians living in Kosovo, Northern Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia. Initially we will operate online, and then we will meet together in Tirana, to close the first phase of the program, in November on the national holiday of the Independence Day”. – concluded Cakaj his posting.
