The Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj, during his stay in Malta had a phone call with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Spain, Arancha González Laya.

The call focused on important bilateral issues. The counterparts also discussed the work done by Albania in fulfilling the obligations for holding the First Intergovernmental Conference, the cooperation between the two countries within the OSCE, as well as the progress of organizing the Union for the Mediterranean, which will be held in Barcelona.

“Thank you for the significant support of Spain in the process of Albania’s EU membership talks.” – said Cakaj via a Facebook post, regarding the call.
