Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs

During his stay in Antalya, the acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj, also held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Croatia, Gordan Grlić-Radman.

The meeting focused on discussions about bilateral relations, regional co-operation in the Western Balkans and the European Integration process.

As Cakaj states, via a Facebook post regarding the meeting, Croatia supports the holding of the First Intergovernmental Conference based on the good work that Albania has made to meet the conditions as it is documented by the European Commission.

“Another important issue: Croatia confirms its support for Albania’s candidacy in the Security Council 2022-2023.” – Cakaj concluded his Facebook posting.
