Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, reacted to the tragic attack on a United Nations convoy in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where as a result the Italian Ambassador, Luca Attanasio and two other people remained dead.

Minister Xhaçka expressed via a Twitter post her condolences to the family of the Italian ambassador and the families of the other two victims.

“My deepest condolences and solidarity go to our colleagues of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation,” Chief Diplomat Xhaçka  wrote on social media.
