The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, congratulated the United States of America on the occasion of the 245th anniversary of its Independence Day.

Via a post on social networks, Minister Xhaçka expressed the gratitude for everything that the U.S. has done to change and advance the course of Albania’s history for the better.

“245 years ago the 4th of July became a symbol of hope to all those who believed in freedom and democracy! 245 years on we are proud to be your ally and we are grateful for all you have done to change and advance the course of history of Albania for the better. Happy Independence Day United States!” writes the Albanian chief diplomat in her post.
