The European Union through the civil protection mechanism #EUCivPro will send to Albania two helicopters and a team of firefighters to support the fire extinguishing operations. The Helicopters will come from the Czech Republic and the Netherlands.

Minister Xhaçka has reacted through social media thanking the European friends for the help given in these days of need.

“We thank our European friends for the help given during these days of need. Grateful to the Czech Republic and the Netherlands for the teams that will help extinguish the fires in our country. United we can make it.”
