In the margins of the 76th Session of the UN General Assembly, the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, had a meeting with her Maltese counterpart, Evarist Bartolo.

The two foreign ministers exchanged views on the agendas of the respective countries in the UN, especially regarding our future membership in the Security Council.

Minister Xhaçka expressed her gratitude for Malta’s continuous support for Albania’s European integration agenda and the conviction that the support will continue along side with efforts and steps of our country, towards holding the first Intergovernmental Conference for the opening of negotiations.
