The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, held a meeting with the Secretary of State for European Affairs of France, Clément Beaune in Paris.

During the meeting they emphasized the excellent relations between the two countries and prospects for expanding our cooperation in the future, especially in the areas of economic, political, cultural exchanges and in particular the Albania`s European integration process.

“An excellent meeting with Clément Beaune, French Secretary for European Affairs. An open and sincere exchange of views on the EU, the future of Albania, and the Western Balkans and the challenges we face. Grateful for France’s support to our region. “Open to a greater commitment and cooperation in the future”, wrote Minister Xhaçka on social networks after the meeting.

Both countries have pledged to work even closer to accomplish Albanian’s European agenda and reforms, strengthen co-operation in NATO as well as at the United Nations Security Council, after Albania begins its two-year mandate in January 2022.
