The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, had a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Jan Lipavský in Prague.

The meeting between the two Ministers focused on bilateral and multilateral cooperation, the European integration process of Albania, as well as the security situation in Europe and beyond.

Minister Xhaçka appreciated the assistance of the Czech Republic in Albania’s European journey, especially during its current EU presidency.

Meanwhile, Minister Lipavský reconfirmed the strong support of the Czech Republic for Albania’s advancement towards EU integration.

During this visit, the Agreement on Cultural cooperation between the two countries was signed.
