The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka had a meeting with the Minister of External Affairs of India, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, in New York

Minister Xhaçka appreciated the cooperation between Albania and India, as non-permanent members of the United Nations Security Council.

The Albanian chief diplomat emphasized that it is the right time for the two countries to strengthen cooperation and relations in areas of mutual interest.

Minister Xhaçka is in New York to attend the high-level week of the 77-th Session of the UN General Assembly as part of the delegation headed by Prime Minister Edi Rama.
