The second intergovernmental meeting between the government of the Republic of Albania and that of North Macedonia was held in Skopje, where a total of 21 agreements were signed.

The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, and her counterpart, Bujar Osmani, signed two memorandums of cooperation: one for the digitalization of consular services and the other for cooperation in the field of diplomatic trainings.

This memorandum aims to strengthen the cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries, in the field of diplomatic training, which will be done through the Diplomatic Academies by constructing a legal/regulatory framework and designing work programs, that will be agreed upon by the parties later.

The first meeting of the two governments was held in Pogradec on December 15, 2017.
