The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, had a meeting with the French Secretary of State for European Affairs, Laurence Boone.

Minister Xhaçka expressed her gratitude to France for its continuous contribution in finding the best ways to bring the region closer to the European Union.

The Albanian chief diplomat emphasized that Albania will continue to play a constructive, stabilizing and proactive role in the region, in order to help achieve peace, stability, security and cohesion.

The French Secretary of State Boone valued the holding of the First Albania-EU Intergovernmental Conference and guaranteed France’s support in the process.
