At the sidelines of the NATO ministerial in Bucharest, the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, had a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy, Antonio Tajani.

Minister Xhaçka stated that the revitalization of Italy’s engagement in the Western Balkans is an excellent news for the region, as she emphasized that Albania values its strategic partnership and historical friendship with Italy and its people.

Both officials expressed their commitment to advance bilateral cooperation as well as the advancement of the Western Balkans on its path towards EU integration.
