Main tasks and specific directions of activity

• Identification, testing, adaptation and introduction into agricultural practices of new technologies and inputs in agricultural crops (forage, beans) and livestock (cattle, pigs, poultry);
• Preparation of technological packages for agricultural crops (forage, beans) and animal breeding (cattle, pigs, poultry);
• Studies and recommendations in the field of Land and Water;
• Integrated farm management;
• Farm-level research and testing for problems raised by farmers in the region;
• Production of high seed links for fodder crops and beans;
• Control of livestock feed and biological material on a national scale;
• Trainings for agriculture, livestock specialists, farmers and other interested subjects;
• Provision of technical expertise for advisory service structures and farmers;
• Demonstration of new technologies for the cultivation of fodder crops, beans, etc. as well as for the breeding of cattle, pigs and poultry;
• Preparation and publication of informative materials for agricultural specialists and farmers.

In addition to the above responsibilities, the tasks of the Center also include:

• The needs and priorities of the region;
• Agrozonal testing required by other Centers;
• Initiation/preparation of projects that address the specific problems of the area;
• Internship for students of the Agricultural University, etc.
