One of these companies is the “Albaseed” company, which produces crystal fertilizer for the first time in Albania under the Made in Albania logo. This company not only brings agricultural imputs and seeds, but all tomato and vegetable cultivars are produced and implemented by itself first in its experimental greenhouses that are spread throughout the country.

“We have experimental bases all over Albania, in the villages of Berat, Fier, Shkodra, that do the same work as we do here with our experimental base. Even the removal of input VAT and the support scheme with free oil was very positive. When we came here, this area was planted with alfalfa and wheat, now it is all with watermelons and vegetables”, said the administrator of the “Albaseed” company.

The second visit was made to the company “Alba Agro”, an enterprise of 3 Gjeka brothers, who are strongly expanding their activity with the latest technology, also benefiting from the removal of VAT on the import of machinery and equipment.

“They were supported by the removal of VAT on machinery and equipment, meanwhile they want to increase the investment and for this they are getting ready for another application”, – said the Minister of Economy.
