Albana Tole – Deputy Minister of Education and Sports

Mrs. Albana Tole was born in Tirana in 1982

He completed his university studies at the Catholic University “Sacro Cuore” in Milan, where he graduated in Political Science and International Relations. Following the master’s degree

she further deepened her studies with a University Master in Economics and International Politics at the Italian University of Switzerland, Lugano and the Higher School of Economic Studies and International Politics in Milan. In 2018, he received the title of Doctor (PhD) in Public Law from the University of Rome Studies, Tor Vergata, Italy.

Mrs. Tole has a long experience in the field of Higher Education. For more than a decade, it has been directly involved in the processes of accreditation, activation and coordination of study programs with joint and double international degrees/diplomas.

In 2010 Mrs. Tole was engaged as a functionary of the Rectorate of the Catholic University “Our Lady of Good Counsel” and is further entrusted with the responsibility for the Activation of Long-Term Study Programs in the field of Medicine, in close cooperation with prestigious Italian Universities. After a successful contribution to her ventures, she culminates as the Head of the Coordination Office of Specialization Schools and Study Programs of the II and III Cycles at the Faculty of Medicine.

A special place has taken, from the beginning of her career, the involvement in frontal didactics as an external lecturer at the University of Tirana for a period of 6 years (2011-2017) and then at the Catholic University “Our Lady of Good Counsel”. Also a member of the Department of Economic Sciences at this University, as well as since 2016 a member of the Center for Economic Research for Developing Countries.

From November 2021 Mrs. Tole holds the post of Deputy Minister of Education and Sports.

Mrs. Tole is the mother of a boy.
