Mr. Erzen Tola, currently Secretary General of the Ministry of Education and Sports, a position he holds from October 2022 onwards.

Next to this Ministry, he also directed:

– From October 2019 to October 2022, the General Regulatory and Compliance Directorate for Education and Sports in the Ministry of Education and Sports.
– From February 2014 to October 2019, the Directorate of Legal Services, during which the biggest reforms were carried out in the field of pre-university education, higher education, sports and youth, reforms made concrete with a complete and clear legal and sub-legal framework for all four areas of state responsibility that this ministry had.

Mr. Tola has a long work experience of more than 19 years, in local self-government institutions and then in central ones.

Mr. Tola, has completed his studies in the field of law at the University of Sofia, Bulgaria “St. Kliment Ohridski” in 2003, as well as the third-cycle studies to obtain the scientific degree “Doctor”, at this University, in 2021.

Mr. Tola is a licensed lawyer since 2004 and has a long experience of representation at all levels of judgment.
