National Commission Against Violence

 

The National Anti-Violence Commission is an advisory body, under the minister responsible for sports, which draws up policies for the prevention of violence during sports activities and sports shows, created in support of Article 54 of Law no. 79/2017 “For Sport”, with a structural composition determined by Decision no. 305, dated 23.5.2018 “On determining the composition, operation, powers and method of remuneration of the members of the National Commission Against Violence in Sport”, as follows:

a) General Director of the State Police, member;

b) General Secretary of the Albanian Football Federation, member;

c) A personality, representative of non-profit organizations active in the field of the fight against violence in sports, member;

ç) A personality, representative of higher education institutions in the field of member sports;

d) A sports journalist, member;

dh) A specialist from the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth, coordinator/secretary.

 

The nominative composition of the National Commission Against Violence in Sports is determined by order no. . 358, dated 02.07.2018, of the Minister responsible for sports, “On the appointment of members of the National Commission Against Violence in Sports”.

National Commission Against Violence

1. The National Commission Against Violence is an advisory body to the minister responsible for sports. This commission draws up policies for the prevention of violence during sports activities and sports performances. The composition, operation, powers and method of remuneration of the members of this commission are determined by the decision of the Council of Ministers.
2. National Commission Against Violence in Sports and all sports organizations, in

action against violence in Albania, respect the provisions of the European Convention Against Violence in Sports, to which the Republic of Albania adheres.
